Installation problems?

  • I got an "Authorization Failed" or "Access Permissions" error when downloading or installing

    It looks like your BlackBerry may be restricted from installing 3rd party applications. You will need to contact your IT Manager to see if there is a simple resolution. Truphone has only opened the single installation Beta trial but we will be rolling our Business and Corporate solutions in the near future.

  • I've installed the application but it will not open when I click it

    It looks like your BlackBerry may be restricted from installing 3rd party applications. Contact our BlackBerry support line to see if there is a simple resolution (see Service Numbers).

  • I entered my BlackBerry number on the website but didn't get an SMS from Truphone

    During the installation process you should receive two text messages: one at the beginning containing a web link to download Truphone, and another towards the end containing your Truphone number and online account details. If you don't receive either of these SMS then send an email to support@truphone.com including your mobile number.

  • I can't download Truphone after clicking the link you sent me in an SMS

    Make sure that you can browse the web (i.e. are connected to a 3G network). If you are online, but still can't download Truphone, email support@truphone.com

Account problems?

  • I didn't receive (or deleted!) my Truphone account details

    If you don't have your login SMS please go to https://www.truphone.com/login/forgottenpassword.tru, enter your BlackBerry phone number, and follow the password reset instructions. If this does not resolve your problem then send an email to support@truphone.com including your BlackBerry phone number.

  • I can't login with my Truphone account details that were sent via email/SMS

    Follow the instructions above.
